Abstract
This Regulation consists of 38 articles divided into 5 Parts: General Provisions (1); Single Standing Nets-Gillnets (2); Triple Gillnets-Trammel Nets (3); Fishing with Gillnets (4) and Final and Transitional Provisions (5). This Regulation prescribes assignments and methods for the use of gillnets, as well as technical characteristics, seasons and permitted areas for their use. It also lists different kinds of fixed nets (gill or trammel fixed net) and regulates the use of artificial light in accordance with the type of net. The position of the fixed net must be signalled on the sea surface with buoys.
