Abstract
This Regulation prescribes the quality requirements which must be met, in terms of production, composition and placing on the market, by all products classified as jam, extra jam, jelly, extra jelly, marmalade, jelly marmalade, and sweetened chestnut puree.
This text also sets out the rules as regards the names, definitions and general requirements; composition and sensory properties; type and quantity of raw materials and other substances used in production and processing; additional labelling requirements.
The Annex is part of this publication (Annexes I, II and III; containing the list of names, definitions and general requirements; allowed ingredients; and definitions and treatment of ingredients).

This Regulation entered into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Notes
This Regulation transposes into the legal order of the Republic of Croatia the provisions of Council Directive 2001/113/EC of 20 December 2001 relating to fruit jams, jellies and marmalades and sweetened chestnut purée intended for human consumption.
