Abstract
This Regulation prescribes the composition and labelling standards for gluten-free foods, intended for people intolerant to gluten.
This Regulation adopts standards and requirements of the European Commission Regulation on the composition and labelling of foods suitable for persons intolerant to gluten.
Food that does not comply with the provisions of this Regulation may be marketed until 1 January 2012.

This Regulation enters into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Notes
On the effective date of this Regulation, the Regulation on foods for special dietary needs (Official Gazette 81/2004) will be no longer in force, in the part related to the gluten-free foods.
