Abstract
This Regulation specifies the types of natural habitat, its form, content and method of use, maps of habitats, threatened and rare habitat types that have to maintain a favorable conservation status, and measures for the conservation of threatened and rare habitats.
In terms of this Regulation, a habitat is a unique functional unit of an ecosystem, defined by geographical, abiotic and biotic properties.
Habitat types identified in this Regulation are complying with the relevant European classifications of habitat types, and are subject to the implementation of international Laws and Regulations in future.
The Annexes I-III are an integral part of this Regulation.
