Abstract
This Regulation stipulates: a) health safety of water used for human consumption; b) limit values for indicators of safety; c) the type and scope of the analysis of samples of drinking water and analytical methods; d) frequency of sampling of drinking water.
The provisions of this Regulation shall apply to all waters regardless of their origin in the natural state or after processing, if used as drinking water or food business, items that come in direct contact with food and general use stuff, and regardless of the whether supplied from a public distribution network or in packaging that complies with specific regulations.
Application compliance must be met: a) on the point of consumption of drinking water; b) the facilities for doing business with food items that come in direct contact with food and general use where water is used in the production and transport; c) tanks at the tap if it is used as drinking water.
Departments of Public Health that conduct monitoring must be accredited according to the normative HRN EN ISO/IEC 17025.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.

Entry into force notes
This Regulation enters into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Notes
On the effective date of this Regulation, the Regulation on the safety of drinking water (Official Gazette 182/04) will be no longer in use.
