Regulation on the implementation of the Program for co-financing the organized appearance of Croatian businessmen at large international fairs and competitions abroad for the period from 2024 to 2026.

This Regulation prescribes the implementation of the Program for co-financing the organized performance of Croatian businessmen at major international fairs and competitions abroad for the period from the year 2024 until the year 2026. Eligible recipients of support are: 1. Units of regional self-government of the Republic of Croatia; 2. Associations registered for agricultural production as a basic activity; 3. Chambers; 4. Business entities and other organizational structures (professional associations), which organize the joint appearance of Croatian producers in the sectors of agriculture, food industry, fisheries and aquaculture at major international fairs and competitions abroad. The principles of implementation of the grant award procedure are: a) the principle of equal treatment for all users and all involved parties when exercising rights and fulfilling obligations; b) the principle of prohibition of any discrimination based on ideas based on sexual, gender, racial, ethnic, national, religious, political determination or belief or on age, education, disability, property, social or other social affiliation, characteristic or position; c) the principle of transparency, which implies that all documents that do not violate any of the principles are made available to all interested parties; d) the principle of protection of personal data in accordance with the regulations governing the protection of personal data, confidentiality of data and protection of confidentiality of data; e) the principle of proportionality, which implies that the scope of the action is proportionate to the goal or the expected outcome; f) the principle of preventing conflicts of interest, which implies the impartial and objective performance of functions and tasks of all persons involved in the procedure of awarding support or grants, which may be violated due to the existence of (blood) kinship, family relations or other emotional community, belonging to a political party or a certain political or other belief, economic interest or any other common interest with the user; g) the principle of confidentiality of the grant awarding procedure, which implies that the persons involved in the grant awarding procedure keep every confidential document and information (written or oral) related to the course of the grant awarding procedure as well as the subject of the grant awarding procedure as a secret, using it exclusively in the context and in the purpose of implementing the grant award procedure.
