Abstract
This Regulation defines the rules regarding the compliance with the necessary terms of the Program of milk in schools (on the territory of the Republic of Croatia and related to the programmed period from 1 August 2015 to 31 July 2016).
The rules here stipulated are aimed to support and implement the correct application of the EU supporting measures aimed to improve the availability of milk and milk products in educational institutions in order to improve the distribution of milk and milk products and improving the eating/nutrition habits of children.
This text transposes and respects the provisions contained in the following documents: Regulation (EU) no. 1308/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 December 2013 establishing common organization of agricultural markets and its repealing Regulations (EEC) No. 922/72, (EEC) No. 234/79, (EC) No. 1037/2001 and (EC) No. 1234/2007; and Commission Regulation (EC) No. 657/2008 of 10 July 2008 laying down detailed rules for the implementation of Council Regulation (EC) No. 1234/2007 as regards the Community aid for the supply of students in educational establishments with milk and milk products (including its Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) no. 756/2013 of 6 August 2013 and its amending Regulation (EC) No. 657/2008 laying down detailed rules for the implementation of Council Regulation (EC) No. 1234/2007.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
