Abstract
This Regulation here prescribes the implementation of the State Support Program for producers of pigs of higher slaughter weight due to difficult business conditions caused by measures to combat African swine fever. The measure in the implementation of the Program is compensation for the loss of income for pigs of higher final weights shipped to slaughter from facilities in the restriction zone in the period from 1 October 2023 until 31 December 2023. Eligible beneficiaries of the aid are micro, small and medium-sized enterprises that are engaged in breeding of fattening pigs. All users must meet the following requirements: a) entry in the Register of Farmers or the Register of Family Farms; b) registration in the Register of facilities (farms); c) facilities where pigs are kept are located in the zone of application of the ordered measures; d) they have delivered, from registered farms for slaughter to slaughterhouses designated to reduce the risk of African swine fever, heads of pigs that, in the system of classification and marking on the slaughter line, have a minimum established slaughter weight of a warm carcass of 115 kg and belong to category T1 or T2.
