Regulation on the implementation of the Support Program to compensate for the increase in production costs in the livestock and crop production sectors.

This Regulation prescribes the implementation of the State Support Program for compensation of the increase in production costs in the livestock and crop production sectors (adopted by the Decision of the Government of the Republic of Croatia on 27 July 2023). Support from the Program is granted on the basis of the Commission's Communication Temporary framework for state support measures in crisis situations and for the transition to support the economy after the Russian aggression against Ukraine from 9 March 2023. Measures in the implementation of this Program in the animal husbandry sectors are: Measure 1. Support to the cattle breeding sector, Submeasure 1.1 Support to cow breeders in milk production, Submeasure 1.2. Support for cow breeders in the cow-calf system, Submeasure 1.3. Support for fattening beef producers; Measure 2. Support to the pig farming sector, Submeasure 2.1. Support for sow breeders, Submeasure 2.2. Support for producers of fattening pigs; Measure 3. Support to the poultry sector, Submeasure 3.1 Subsidy for the production of poultry meat, Submeasure 3.2. Support for egg production; Measure 4. Support to the sheep and goat breeding sector; Measure 5. Support to the horse breeding sector; Measure 6. Support to the beekeeping sector. Measures regarding the plant production sectors are: Measure 7. Support for the production of fruits and vegetables, flowers, medicinal and aromatic plants; Measure 8. Support for sugar beet production; and Measure 9. Support for the production of seed corn and vegetable seeds. User eligibility conditions are laid down in article 5.
