Abstract
This Regulation prescribes the implementation of the Pig Breeding Sector Support Program due to disabled activity due to the occurrence of African swine fever (adopted by the Decision of the Government of the Republic of Croatia, dated 7 August 2023). Measures in the implementation of the Program are: Measure 1. Compensation of market value for dead and killed pigs; Measure 2. Compensation for loss of income for removed pigs. Eligible beneficiaries of support are micro, small and medium-sized enterprises defined in article 2 of Annex I of Commission Regulation (EU) 2022/2472, which keep pigs in the area of restricted zones.
