Abstract
This Regulation prescribes the manner of issuing certificates for live animals and animal products for the purpose of international trading.
The competent authority carrying out the inspection further provides certification in accordance with this Regulation.
A person authorized to issue the certificate must have adequate knowledge of the veterinary legislation in relation to animals or products for which the certificate is issued and must be familiar with the rules for the preparation and certification and, if necessary, the type and scope of analysis, test or inspection that must be carried out before the certification.
Certificates must be written in Croatian language and the language of the destination country.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.

Entry into force notes
This Regulation enters into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Notes
On the effective date of this Regulation, the Regulation on issuing of veterinary health certificates for live animals and animal products in international trade (Official Gazette 134/05) will be no longer in use.
