Regulation on issuing scientific opinions and providing scientific and technical support in the field of food regulations.

This Regulation prescribes the procedure and deadlines for issuing scientific opinions and providing scientific and technical support to competent authorities designed by the Croatian Agriculture and Food Agency. This text also determines the procedure and deadlines for issuing scientific opinions, including cases where a request for issuing a scientific opinion is submitted by third parties interested in their needs, and the amount of the fee for preparing a scientific opinion and providing scientific and technical support. The Agency shall issue scientific opinions at the request of competent authorities in the following cases: when provided for by regulations on food and feed, animal health and welfare and plant health; in relation to issues in the field of food regulations.
Request sheet sample designated for third parties for scientific opinions and provision of scientific and technical support and the List amount of fees for services of scientific opinions and provision of scientific or technical support based on requests from third parties for their needs are both given in the Annex of this text.
