Regulation laying down minimum conditions for the carrying out of identity and plant health checks of plants, plant products and other regulated objects coming from foreign countries, when these checks are carried in a place different than the point of entry.

This Regulation stipulates minimum conditions for carrying out of identity and plant health checks on plants, plant products and other regulated objects at a place other than the point of entry or at a place close by; cases and circumstances when such checks are carried out; special guarantees and documents pertaining to the transport of plants, plant products and other regulated objects to the place of destination and final destination; special guarantees and minimum conditions pertaining to suitableness of the final destination for storing and to storing conditions; issuing of decisions on approved places of inspection; keeping lists of approved places of inspection; procedures for import of consignments of plants whose identity and plant health checks are to be carried out at approved places of inspection; forms of co-operation between importers and competent bodies, and co-operation between competent bodies.
The Annexes I and II are an integral part of this Regulation.
