Regulation on the lease of forestland owned by the Republic of Croatia.

This Regulation provides for the standards for leasing forestland that has not been assigned a purpose, as indicated and determined by current forest management plans. Land subject of this text is forestland owned by the Republic of Croatia and the procedures related to this land lease will be operated by the Croatian Forests Limited Liability Company. This Regulation further sets the list of documentation required for public invitation, and sets lease terms and criteria for the termination of such lease contracts.
The object of this lease is forestland that is not correctly managed in the way and purpose determined by forestry programmes.
The provisions of this Regulation shall not apply to forest land owned by the Republic of Croatia, if used for defense purposes, within national park areas, within strict reserves or within special reserve areas.
