Abstract
This Regulation establishes the levels of genetically modified organisms under which the products are marketed, and with accidentally or technically unavoidable traces of authorized genetically modified organisms that cannot be excluded, but without the necessary label as product containing genetically modified organisms.
For the purposes of this Regulation, allowed genetically modified organisms are organisms that are listed in the Annex I of this Regulation, which makes her integral part.
Products that contain accidentally or technically unavoidable traces of genetically modified organisms in a permitted level of 0.9% or less, the product of one ingredient, and 0.9% or less genetically modified organisms in a particular ingredient, products that consist of multiple components, are not marked as products containing genetically modified organisms.
Reproductive plant material containing genetically modified organisms in any quantity, must be marked in accordance with special regulations.
