Regulation on the marketing of cereal seed.

This Regulation prescribes all rules and requirements aimed to define the types of grains that can be certified and the conditions for seed certification; categories of seed of certain species of cereals and conditions which must be met by each category of cereal seeds; cereal seed production; the conditions of official overview and supervision under official control for individual plant species and their seed categories; training program and the conditions for authorizing a person to supervise; conditions that must be met by suppliers of agricultural seeds; method and time of application for surveillance; report form; form of the Certificate of Recognition of seed crops; content and manner of keeping records on issued certificates; content, form and manner of keeping records on the mass of natural and processed seeds; requirements for the preparation of seed mixtures of official supervision during preparation of seed mixtures; minimum requirements on the quality of the semen; size of the seed for individual plant species and mixtures thereof; professional training of samplers; methods of sampling and testing of seed quality; supervision of samplers; supervision of laboratories; form of an application for certification of a seed; documents, content, form and manner of keeping records of seed certificates issued; methods and conditions for carrying out additional controls for individual plant species; method and conditions of packing, sealing and labelling of seeds of certain plant species and their seed categories; size of small packages for individual plant species; terms of trade of seed wholesale and retail trade; conditions for the placing on the market of seed treated with chemicals or plant protection products and seeds that meets the requirements of organic farming; documents when importing must accompany seed and/or be on the packaging; conditions for the import and marketing of seeds in terms of packaging, sealing and labelling and the manner of keeping records of imported quantities of seeds over 2 pounds of total weight.
