Abstract
This Regulation prescribes measures for the poultry sector, production and hygiene standards, marketing standards for poultry meat and rules for production and marketing of poultry meat on the market.
Poultry is classified by the quality of the class A or class B, depending on the conformation and appearance of the hull or sliced pieces. In particular, the classification takes into account the development of muscle, the presence of fat and amount of damage and contusions.
Poultry meat is put on the market in one of the following conditions: a) fresh; b) frozen; c) quick-frozen.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.

Entry into force notes
This Regulation enters into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette, except for the provisions of article 14. paragraph 18, 19 and 21. which will enter into force on the day of Croatian entrance into the European Union.
