Abstract
This Regulation establishes all necessary standards for determining the maximum levels for certain contaminants in foodstuffs.
On the Croatian food market, any food containing unacceptable or toxic levels of contaminants cannot be placed or marketed.
When applying the maximum levels, set out in Annex of this Regulation, to the food that is dried, diluted, processed or composed of multiple components, it will take into account the following: a) changes in the concentration of the contaminant caused by drying or dilution; b) changes in the concentration of the contaminant caused by processing; c) the relative proportions of the ingredients in the food; d) the analytical limit of quantification.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
