Abstract
This Regulation prescribes measures for the control and eradication of brucellosis (B. melitensis).
If the holding of animals is suspected of brucellosis (B. melitensis) presence, the competent authority shall immediately order the tests and scans in order to confirm or exclude the presence of disease.
It is forbidden to treat animals suffering from brucellosis (B. melitensis).
It is believed that brucellosis (B. melitensis) in the infected farms is stopped when the official tests can confirm that with the specific analysis.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.

Entry into force notes
This Regulation enters into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Notes
With the entry into force of this Regulation, the Regulation on measures for the control and eradication of Brucellosis (B. melitensis) and the conditions for determining the health status of herds of sheep and goats in relation to brucellosis (B. melitensis) (Official Gazette 146/04) will be no longer in use.
