Abstract
This Regulation lays down measures for the control and eradication of enzootic bovine leukosis.
Prevention and eradication of enzootic bovine leukosis shall be carried out continuously, until the status of the country officially free of enzootic bovine leukosis is reached.
The competent authority shall maintain and regularly update the official records of all cattle herds, classified according to their health status in relation to enzootic bovine leukosis.
It is prohibited by this Regulation: a) the treatment of cattle affected by enzootic bovine leukosis; b) vaccination against bovine enzootic bovine leukosis.
When there is a occurrence or suspected occurrence of enzootic bovine leukosis, the veterinarian must immediately notify the situation to the State Veterinary Administration, and the external branch of veterinary inspection, in accordance with special regulations.
The owner or keeper of animals must ensure that he will not introduce cattle originating from herds of lower status.

This Regulation enters into force on the day of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Notes
With the entry into force of this Regulation, the Regulation on measures for the prevention and eradication of enzootic bovine leukosis (Official Gazette 30/06) will be no longer in use.
