Abstract
This Regulation lays down the minimum measures to be taken to prevent the spread and to eradicate the San Jos Scale Quadraspidiotus perniciosus Comst.
If a holder of a plant, plant products and other regulated objects or any other person who observes the symptoms of contamination or suspects the occurrence of San Jos Scale, he shall inform the phytosanitary or forestry inspector thereof, who shall forward the information to the competent Directorate of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development.
In case of suspicion of contamination, the competent inspector shall take a sample and submit it for determination to the Institute for Plant Protection in Agriculture and Forestry of the Republic of Croatia.
In contaminated areas and safety zones, holders of San Jos Scale host plants shall implement appropriate measures to control San Jos Scale and prevent it from spreading.
