Abstract
This Regulation prescribes the categories of waste landfills, procedures and other conditions for landfilling waste, limit values for emissions into the environment during the landfill of waste, requirements and measures related to planning, construction, operation and closure of landfills and procedures after their closure.
The goals of this Regulation are to reduce, during the whole life-cycle of the landfill, the negative effects on the environment, in particular the pollution of surface water, groundwater, soil and air, including greenhouse effects, as well as reducing any risk to human health resulting from landfilling of waste and the life-cycle of the landfill.
