Abstract
This Regulation prescribes the content, objectives, form of the Mining Waste Management Plan, the parties responsible for the preparation of the Mining Waste Management Plan, the method of construction, management and closure of mining waste management facilities, procedures for preventing water, air and soil pollution, the method of using waste in mining operations in excavated areas, the method of creating a safety management system and related plans and informing the public in preventing major accidents, the frequency of supervision, the form of a permit for the management of waste from the mining industry, the content and list of necessary records, and the method of reporting and the tasks that it is obliged to do performed by the person responsible for waste management from the mining industry. An integral part of this text are: 1. Annex I. Safety management system and informing the interested public during the preparation of the external plan; 2. Annex II. Characterization of waste from the mining industry; 3. Annex III. Records of waste management facilities from the mining industry; 4. Annex IV. Request for issuing, amending or supplementing a permit for waste management from the mining industry; 5. Appendix V. License form for the performance of waste management activities from the mining industry; 6. Annex VI. Waste management plan from the mining industry.
