Abstract
This Regulation provides conditions for monitoring, content and scope of the plan for monitoring of the impact of genetically modified organisms, (GMO’s) products containing and/or consisting from GMOs placed on the market and their use, requirements for reporting on the results of monitoring, data collection.
The aim of monitoring is: a) to verify that the assumptions associated with the occurrence and impact of potential adverse effects of GMOs and their use in environmental risk assessment is accurate; b) to identify the occurrence of adverse effects of the GMOs or its use on human health and the environment that were not anticipated in the environmental risk assessment.
The Annex, containing technical data and standards, is an integral part of this Regulation.
