Abstract
This Regulation prescribes nutrition labelling for foodstuffs intended for: the delivery to the ultimate consumer; supply of restaurants, canteens, hospitals, kindergartens, schools, social welfare institutions and other mass caterers which offer foodstuffs to the ultimate consumer for consumption.
This Regulation does not apply to: natural mineral waters or other waters intended for human consumption; foodstuffs for special nutritional purposes (diet foodstuffs), for which labelling of nutritional values is obligatory and regulated by a special regulation.
The provisions of this Regulation shall apply without prejudice to the labelling provisions of a special regulation related to foodstuffs intended for particular nutritional use.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
