Abstract
This Regulation prescribes the method of specifying the nutritional value of food intended for: a) delivery to the ultimate consumer; b) supply of restaurants, canteens, hospitals, kindergartens, schools, social welfare and other similar entities in the food business who offer food to the ultimate consumer for direct consumption.
Nutrition labelling for food is not compulsory, except for foods in which the labelling, presentation or advertising, excluding generic advertising, nutrition claim appears.
Specifying nutrients and its amount is not considered nutrition claim if it has been provided by special provisions.
Annex I is an integral part of this Regulation.

Entry into force notes
This Regulation enters into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Notes
With the entry into force of this Regulation, the Regulation on nutrition labeling for food (Official Gazette 60/08, 74/08) will be no longer in force.
