Abstract
This Regulation lays down specific rules for organization and implementation of official controls on products of animal origin.
This Regulation shall apply only in relation to the activities and entities which are regulated by the Regulation on the hygiene of food of animal origin.
Companies in the food business must provide all necessary assistance to the competent authority in order to enable them to effectively carry out official controls and in particular way shall ensures: a) access to buildings, premises, facilities or other infrastructure; b) that all documentation and records required will be available.
Official controls prescribed in this Regulation including the HACCP system are applied only to approved facilities.
