Abstract
This Regulation governs the general requirements for the quality of olive oil and olive-pomace oil which is placed on the market in order to be sold to the final consumer, and they refer to the: classification and terminology; physico-chemical and organoleptic characteristics; physico-chemical and sensory characteristics of raw materials, type and quantity of raw materials, additives and other substances used during the production and/or processing; ecological processes used in production and processing; additional or specific information that should be indicated on the label, packaging and packaging requirements;methods of sampling and analysis of physico-chemical and sensory characteristics in order to determine compliance of the requirements provided by this of this Regulation.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
