Abstract
This Regulation prescribes the manner of reporting the arrival of consignments of animal products, bedding and hay imported from foreign countries at the border inspection post, the form of the common veterinary entry document and methods of treatment.
The person responsible for the facility where the shipment is divided must keep records to ensure traceability of the different parts of the shipment.
The Records must be kept for three years.
In order to ensure that all products that enter into the Croatian Republic are subject to veterinary checks, authority and border veterinary inspectors work with other inspectorates to collect all information pertaining to the listing of products, in particular: a) information available to the customs authorities; b) information from the ship, rail or air manifest; c) other sources of information accessible by road, rail, port operators or operators of airports.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.

Entry into force notes
This Regulation enters into force on 1 September 2011, except for the provisions of article 5, paragraph 2 and Annex II, paragraph 4 that will enter into force on the day of Croatian entrance into the European Union.
Notes
On the effective date of this Regulation, the Regulation on the documents for registration of veterinary health inspection of consignments of animal origin entering the Republic of Croatia (Official Gazette 129/06, 139/06, 75/07, 116/07 and 70/09) will be no longer in use.
