Abstract
This Regulation, in order to prevent the introduction of the bluetongue disease, prohibits the import and transit through the Croatian territory of: a) live domestic and wild ruminants; b) the embryos of ruminants; c) semen for artificial insemination of ruminants.
The prohibition will be applied to consignments originating from countries or their regions listed in the Annex.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.

This Regulation enters into force on the day of its publication in the Official Gazette.

Upon the entry into force of this Regulation, the Regulation on the prohibition of imports and transit through the territory of the Croatian Republic of domestic and wild ruminants and genetic material derived from ruminants from the EU member states in order to prevent the introduction of the bluetongue disease (Official Gazette 105/11) will be no longer in use.
