Regulation Prohibiting the Importation and Transit Through the Republic of Croatia of Domestic Ungulates (Cattle, Sheep, Goats and Pigs) and Wild Ungulates, Products of Ungulates as well as Animal Feed and Bedding Materials in order to Prevent the Introduction of Infectious Foot and Mouth Diseases.

This Regulation prohibits the import and transit through Croatian territory of: a) live domestic ungulates (cattle, sheep, goats and pigs) and wild ungulates; b) semen of domestic and wild ungulates; c) embryos of domestic and wild ungulates; d) fresh and frozen meat of domestic and wild ungulates; e) meat products of domestic and wild ungulates that were not processed in a manner that safely destroyed the virus of foot and mouth disease; f) products of animal origin (from ungulates) intended for human consumption, animal feed for agricultural or industrial use, animal feed and bedding materials of vegetable origin; g) products of animal origin (from ungulates) intended for pharmaceutical or medical (surgical) use; h) biological products that are not sterile.
The prohibition shall not apply to shipments originating from the following countries: Albania; Japan; Portugal; Australia; Canada; Romania; Austria; Korea; Singapore; Belgium; Costa Rica; United States; Bosnia and Herzegovina; Cuba; Bulgaria; Latvia; Slovakia; Cyprus; Lithuania; Slovenia; Spain; Czech Republic; Luxembourg; Chile; Madagascar; Sweden; Denmark; Hungary; Switzerland; El Salvador; Macedonia; United Kingdom; Malta; Estonia; Ukraine; Finland; Mauritius; Vanuatu; France; Mexico; Greece; Nicaragua; Guyana; Netherlands; Guatemala; Norway; Honduras; New Caledonia; Island; New Zealand; Indonesia; Germany; Ireland; Panama; Poland; Italy.
