Abstract
This Regulation, in order to prevent the introduction of the infectious disease of African swine fever, prohibits the import and transit on the Croatian territory of : a) live domestic and wild pigs; b) semen of domestic and wild pigs; c) the embryos/ova of domestic and wild pigs; d) fresh meat of domestic and wild pigs; e) the meat products of domestic and wild pigs that were not processed in a manner that would certainly destroy the virus of African swine fever; f) products of animal origin (pigs) intended for agricultural, industrial and other use that were not processed in a manner that would certainly destroy the virus of African swine fever; g) products of animal origin (pigs) intended for pharmaceutical or medical (surgical) used that were not processed in a manner that would certainly destroy the virus of African swine fever; h) pathological material and biological products (pigs) which were not processed in a manner that would certainly destroy the virus of African swine fever.
The prohibition prescribed by this Regulation shall apply to shipments originating from the following countries or their regions: a) Armenia; b) Italy-all regions of Sardinia; c) Nigeria; d) Zambia.
