Abstract
This Regulation provides for detailed procedural and technical instructions on how to implement measures to protect animal health from infectious and parasitic diseases, including indications on vaccination practices and other hygiene-sanitary animal health related issues. Significant animal diseases object of this text are as follows: 1. Rabies; 2. Newcastle disease; 3. Horse arteritis; 4. West Nile fever; 5. Q-fever; 6. Bovine spongiform encephalopathy; 7. Sheep scraping; 8. Bird chlamidiosis; 9. Horse rinopneumonitis; 10. Salmonelosis of poultry.
The manner of implementation of these prescribed animal health protection measures is set out in Annexes I and II, which are part of this publication.
