Abstract
This Regulation hereby defines the necessary organization, communication and management issues regarding the Croatian national rapid alert system for food and feed (denominated as HR RASFF, and aimed to communicate and share its data with the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed of the European Union).
The rules here stipulated will be used in case of an incident or potential incident that can/may pose a direct or indirect risk to human health, in relation to food and feed or a serious risk to human or animal health or to the environment in connection with feed.
This text is in accordance with the provisions part of the article 7 of the Regulation (EC) No. 178/2002 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 28 January 2002 laying down general principles and requirements of Food Law, establishing the European Food Safety Authority and laying down procedures in the areas of food safety.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
