Abstract
This Regulation prescribes necessary rules for the certification of ships and boats in order to prevent the ship-sourced pollution.
The basic goals of these rules are the: 1) prevention from oil pollution; 2) prevention from pollution by noxious liquid substances carried in bulk; 3) prevention from pollution by harmful substances carried by sea in packaged form; 4) prevention from pollution by sewage water; 5) pollution from garbage; 6) prevention of Air Pollution; and 8) the control of harmful anti-fouling systems on ships.
