Abstract
This Law provides for a full maritime code, using all necessary standards and related implementations and Regulations to specify the marine and submarine areas and the Croatian legal relations with the sea territory.
This Law further provides for the safety of navigation in internal waters and territorial sea of the Croatian Republic, protection and conservation of natural resources and marine environment, the basic relations and standards to respect in terms of vessels, registrations of vessels, and other technical and administrative provisions that are part of a fair and sustainable marine practice in order to preserve and improve the national sea domain.
To correctly use the prescribed terms of this Law, Croatian sovereignty at sea is extended to internal waters and territorial sea, the air space above them, and the bed and subsoil of the marine area or space.
This Law is divided into XII Chapters and 1032 articles.
