Abstract
This Regulation sets technical standards and necessary rules part of the environmental protection measures which should ensure the reduction of air pollution from emissions of volatile organic compounds that normally occur during the filling of motor vehicles with petrol at petrol stations or similar activities and locations.
This Regulation transposes the provisions of the Directive 2009/126/EZ adopted by the European Parliament and the Council of 21 October 2009 as the second phase of the petrol vapor recovery process during filling of motor vehicles at service stations.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.

Entry into force notes
This Regulation enters into force on 1 January 2011, except for the provisions contained in articles 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 paragraph 1 line 3 and 4 and article 9 which shall enter into force on 1 January 2012.
