Regulation on thickened (condensed) milk and milk powder.

This Regulation prescribes the quality requirements that must be met by the production and placing on the market of condensed milk and powdered milk from Annex 1 that is part of this text. These rules and specific requirements are regarding the : names, definitions and general requirements; composition; type and quantity of raw materials and other substances used in production and processing; additional labelling requirements; technological processes that may be applied in production. This text transposes the requirements lad down in Council Directive 2001/114/EC relating to certain partly or wholly dehydrated preserved milk for human consumption.
