Abstract
This Regulation prescribes the necessary direct measures for the prevention of the spread of the harmful organism called Corythucha arcuate (the oak lace bug).
The purpose of this Regulation is the protection of the public interest and the preservation of forests of native oak species in the continental territory of the Republic of Croatia, as good of interest to the Republic of Croatia, including the principle of the prevention of further damage. The main host plants within the meaning of this Regulation are: Quercus robur (L.) oak peat; and Quercus petraea (Liebl). Other host plants are listed in article 3, paragraph 2.
In order to detect the occurrence and prevent the spread of the harmful organism object of this text, all owners and holders are obliged to inspect and monitor the health condition of their plants and immediately inform the forest inspector about any occurrence of such harmful organism (article 5); article 6 offers the list of concrete measures and limitations; articles 8 and 9 are setting the inspection related issues.
