Abstract
This Regulation provides for special hygiene conditions related to the presence of undesirable and prohibited substances in animal feed.
The rules and standards prescribed by this Regulation declare that products intended for animal feed may be imported, put into circulation or used only if they are hygienically safe and controlled, genuine and of merchantable quality, and therefore when correctly used do not represent any danger or threat to human health, animal health, or to the environment, or could adversely affect the livestock production and its related affairs.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
