Regulation on water ballast management and control.

This Regulation, with the aim to improve the effective level of environmental protection, hereby establishes the official principles and procedures for the management and control of water ballast (cargo, load present of vessel) on floating and floating facilities while staying and sailing in inland waters, territorial sea and protected ecological and fishing zones (if located on the territory of the Republic of Croatia).
This Regulation shall apply to all merchant ships, irrespective of their nationality, as well as other floating platforms and/or floating facilities.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
