Abstract
This Regulation here prescribes all necessary standard that have to be respected in terms of water quality on the territory of the Republic of Croatia (quality of surface waters, including coastal waters, territorial sea waters and groundwater).
This Regulation implements various specific objectives for water protection, including the criteria for determining such objectives, the conditions for extension of the deadlines for achieving those objectives, the elements for assessment of the state water monitoring requirements, and related data collection and reporting to the competent institutions/bodies.
The rules here stipulated will not apply to water that is officially intended for human consumption.
The rules here adopted are further in accordance with many European Directives and Council Regulations as listed in the article 2 of this text.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
