Abstract
The 155 sections of this Regulation are divided into 12 Parts: General Provisions (1); Wine-growing Regions (2); Appellation of Origine (3); Register of Wine Producers (4); Hygiene and Sanitary Procedures (5); Permitted Procedures in Wine Production (6); Quality Control (7); Marking of Wine (8); Special Conditions for Transport (9); Registration (10); Control Procedures (11) and Final Provisions (12). This Regulation sets out requirements regarding labelling of wine and products of grapes or wine origin. It also lists elements for determining a quality of wine. Wine producerse must fulfil certain requirements regarding the following: registration as wine producer, adequacy of establishments for the storage of wine, sufficient knowledge on wine production, etc. The text contains permitted procedures in the production of must and wine, as well as standard list for allowed substances for different quality of wines. The supervision and monitoring of the implementation of this Regulation is entrusted to the Wine-growing and Wine-selling Institute, which lies with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
