Abstract
This Regulation prescribes the quality requirements that the production and the marketing of tuna and bonito must comply with, which are related to: a) terms, definitions and general requirements; b) composition of added ingredients and other substances used in production and processing; c) additional labelling requirements.
Different species may not be mixed in the same container.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.

This Regulation enters into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Notes
The provisions of this Regulation shall apply without prejudice to the provisions of the Regulation on the hygiene of food of animal origin (Official Gazette 99/07).
