14/2023. (IV. 19.) Decree on the conditions applicable when using subsidies from the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund and the European Agricultural Rural Development Fund.

This Decree prescribes the rules and conditions that will apply when using subsidies from the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund and from the European Agricultural Rural Development Fund. On-site inspection, rules for subsidy reduction, creation of water protection strips along the surface waters, crop rotation on arable land, except for crops under water, preservation of biological diversity, prohibition of conversion or plowing of lawn areas designated as environmentally sensitive permanent lawn areas in Natura 2000 areas and provisions regarding force majeure are all topics covered in this text. The agricultural producer subject to inspection is selected by the Hungarian State Treasury. This text further sets issues regarding: the subsidy grant aimed for correct agricultural and environmental condition of the land; the control of compliance with requirements in force; the requirements of conditionality that must be applied to afforested areas of the farm with support from the European Agricultural Rural Development Fund according to the Single Application Regulation.
