Abstract
In order to guarantee proper feedstuff for animals, taking into account the age, destination, protection and health of animals and humans, the Decree implements the Law on the production and marketing of feedstuffs. It is composed of 50 paragraphs and 22 annexes listing nutrient content standards for feedstuffs and maximum residue limits for harmful substances. It also regulates procedures for obtaining import and marketing licences, ingredients, premixtures, mixtures, etc. Annex 20, in particular, deals with sampling rules for classification, authorization and control purposes.
