Abstract
This Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, consisting of 9 articles and three Annexes, lays down the animal health rules governing the production, processing, distribution and introduction of products of animal origin for human consumption. This Regulation shall apply to all stages of the production, processing and marketing of products of animal origin intended for human consumption within the European Community, as well as from countries outside the European Union. The provisions of this Regulation establish veterinary inspections on trade of animal origin products within the European Union and in the Ministerial Decree of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development on the import of products from third countries into the European Union; it shall also be applied having regard to the requirements laid down in the specific legislation listed in Annex 1.
