Decree No. 13 of 1997 of the Ministry of Environmental Protection on the register of protected natural areas and values.

This Decree provides for the establishment of a national register with the aim to have an inventory of protected natural areas and other natural values, and to manage the data on environmental protection necessary for the assurance of information of the society. The register shall be public. The Ministry of Environmental Protection shall keep separate national registers for protected areas of national and local interest and for protected natural values (species of flora and fauna, ecosystems, minerals).
