Abstract
This Decree applies to electric and electronic equipment listed under point 1 of Annex 1, to waste originating from them, and to the taking back, collection, transport, reuse and disposal of such equipment. It provides rules regarding marketing and labelling of equipments, the producer's obligation of taking back, collection and treatment and of informing consumers. Producers may transfer their obligation to intermediate organizations. Producers and intermediate organizations shall be registered. This Decree contains rules also concerning the obligation of producers and intermediate organizations to keep registers and report on their activity, the obligations of distributors and waste holders, as well as official controls and sanctions for offenders.
