Abstract
This Decree applies to waste that can be disposed by waste tipping falling under the scope of the Waste Management Act, to waste tipping and activities related to the setting-up, operation, restoration and after-care of landfill and to the permit of these activities, and to the re-examination, operation and restoration of landfills without technical protection. Articles 3-6 provides for the planning and setting-up of landfills and contain general rules of waste tipping. Articles 7-8 contain rules on the scope of the authorities and concerning the permit of landfills. Articles 9-11 cover questions related to the operation of landfills and to waste transfer and acceptance. Articles 12-13 concern the keeping of a register. Article 14 sets out rules of closure of landfills, while Article 15 regards restoration and after-care of landfills. Lastly, Article 18 provides for reporting and data supply.
